Financial dimensions when creating a new vendor

Hi all,

I have been working with account structures and advanced rules for financial dimensions.

I have noticed this functionality only applies for the journal lines (see image below) but it does not apply when creating a new vendor (the financial dimensions values here are not restricted by the account structures)

My question: how exactly can i set the financial dimensions to get restricted when creating a new vendor? If not using account structures what could i use?

-> General journal line (restricted)

->New vendor (not restricted, i want this to be restricted like the above one)

    Hi Crispin thanks for replying your answers are always helpful,

    Is there anyway you can think of to simplify / restrict the financial dimensions selection when creating a new vendor?

    Regards
