Hello experts,

I want to attach multiple files at the same time to a Vendor Payment journal

Modules > Org administration > Document management > Active document tables I have enabled Ledger journal table

But I am still unable to attach multiple files at the same time. Any help is appreciated

Hi,

Can you elaborate on what you mean by attach multiple files? Do you want to select multiple files in a file dialog at the same time? By default, you can only attach one file at a time. Note that the Always enabled setting is to be able to upload files, regardless of the state of records. This is not enabling a different behavior on file selection.
In case you want to select multiple files in the file dialog, this requires a customization.

Hi,

As André mentioned in his comment, the system currently does not support this feature for bulk upload. However, you may want to explore SharePoint integration, which could help you achieve your requirement.

Hi,

Enabling the table in Active document tables allows you to attach files to that particular form/ screen.

By design, attachment dialog in standard Dynamics 365 Finance generally restricts users to uploading one file at a time per interaction.

i.e. if you have 2 files, you will need to upload in 2 actions.

That checkbox, allows you to attach the document for posted/closed journals. It has nothing to do with multiple attachments.

As for the multiple attachments, you can,, as many as you want, But one each time. That's how the standard system is.

Out of box, you can not attach more than one file in the same time.
