Change or Modify Record URL(Dynamic)

Hello Everybody,

I have a CRM 2015 on premise. I am maintaining it, i was not involved in the installation process. They made probably changes to the server name or url, which has cause problem in the value of Record URL(Dynamic). The value of Record URL(Dynamic) is not correct eg( the actual URL is http://dynap-app01/ but the value of Record URL(Dynamic) is http://dynam-app01/)

How can i modify the value Record URL(Dynamic).

Any feedback shall be appreciated.

    Hello ,

    Please follow below step-

    Open IIS Manager. 

    In the Connections pane, expand the Sites node in the tree, and then select the site for which you want to configure a host header.

    In the Actions pane, click Bindings.

    In the Site Bindings dialog box, select the binding for which you want to add a host header and then click Edit or click Add to add a new binding with a host header.

    In the Host name box, type a host header for the site, such as www.microsoft.com

    Click OK.

    Hello

    For an On-Premise deployment, information about the URL is stored across several configurations.

    You'll need to change the IIS Binding, the server URL in the registry and configure it in the Deployment Manager.

    Hello Madhu Menon,

    Did you find the solution for this? I have the exact same problem right now and email router is not working ok because of that. I installed an SSL certification and my URL changed from http:// to https://. When I tried to load data from email router I get an error message saying the metadata can´t resolve the url http://<servername>/<organizationname> which is incorrect.
