Issues to connect Dynamics 365 Remote assist on HoloLens 2 for multiple users

Hi,

we purchased a HoloLens 2 and have actually 3 user accounts set up. All users have a working Dynamics 365 Remote assist license as we confirmed by using it via mobile phones. When using the HL only the first User was able to connect via remote assist. The others always received a error of problems with login to Azure active directory.

After de-installation of remote assist and reinstallation another user was able to connect to the remote assist but it then only worked for him.

Are there any known issues when multiple users work with the same HL and Remote Assist?

    Hello Chris,

Are you using individual user sessions (using Iris authentication or logout/login process) at HoloLens operating system level ?

If not, it will help isolating user sessions and smooth the login process using Windows Hello (Pin code or Iris)

    Thanks Vincent

Yes, we did logoff from the OS Level each time and logged the new user in with Iris scan. We also logged of from DRA before logging off from OS level.

    Regards

    Chris

I am running into the same problem that you are having.

Have you checked to see if you have the latest version of Remote Assist installed on your hololens?

on the hololens, launch the "windows store" app, then choose the check-for-updates option from the upper right corner of the windows store app.

I had a user who was experiencing this problem for weeks, then it just "started working properly" - it might have been because his remote assist app took a while to detect the need to upgrade and complete the upgrade...but not sure about that yet...

Yes - please ensure you are using the latest version of Remote Assist, 302.2102.2003.  There was a bug fix in this area recently.
