Hello experts,

We have some internal orders that we create to showcase our products at exhibitions etc. These products currently follow Intercompany orders and a normal sales/purchase cycle which is long. Is there an easier/efficient way to handle this types of order so that we do not have to follow the entire Sales/Purchase cycle and we can take out items for exhibitions etc in a faster and efficient way?

    I guess he needs to do the selling&purchasing and related inventory transactions to present items at exhibitions.

    You can consider activating "print packing slip automatically" function.

     Just create a direct delivery intercompany sales/purchase order. Add the item, generate the packing slip. And when you are done, cancel the packing slips and it is all back. Do you have to invoice it, too?

    Hi frodo,

    Then you can generate invoice automatically, too.

    Parameter to activate this functionality is just below "Print packing slip automatically" parameter I mentioned in my previous post.

    Overall, what you can do is basically reducing the times you generate packing slips and invoices.

    If you use these two functionalities you can complete the whole process by generating packing slip+invoice for only one order.
