Hi All,
The currency converter function in status bar of AX2012, whereas how does D365 implement it now?
For example by double clicking status bar in AX2012, a Currency Convertor form will be displayed, and then select one currency need converting.
However, D365 doesn't have status bar, these operation is unavailable. How to do the similar currency convertor in D365? Does D365 implement similar functionality or feature?

Thanks

    Hello,

Could you display a screenshot about the AX function to describe what it does?

In D365FO, in case we are talking about FO and not Finance, there are currency exchange rate types and pairs that you either put in manually or with a connection to the central bank where it is being imported daily.
So, when you post somthing that is not the accounting curreny (company currency), the system pulls the exchange rate from this table and posts it with this exchange rate. There is a also the exchange rate reevaluation that is being done periodically.

    Kind regards, Adis

    Hi Adis:

Thanks for replying. I'm sorry now that I've not an AX2012 environment to use, so can't provide screenshot for you.
But I think the below blog is useful, it's meant to be a currency convertor form screenshot. Also, it says currency conversion is for displaying currency. To realize display currency is what I want.

    Best regards

    Hi Jacky,

Unfortunately, the AX2012 feature is not available in Dynamics 365. In the Common menu, you can find the Select currency form, but this has no effect on the values shown in the currency related fields.
