Hi All,

It is my first time to use TDTT and my AX Client and SQL server are both running and installed in the same box with Windows 8.1. I follow all steps needed and SQL client is also installed but after I run this command as Administrator:

DP.exe Import C:\AXR3CU8DemoData MicrosoftDynamicsAX Server\MSSQLAX2012

it gives me this error; Cannot access database MicrosoftDynamicsAX. no database found. Appreciate your kind help.

Do you have the AOS on the same machine?

Hi Iulian,

Thank you for the quick response. Yes AOS is in the same machine but I already figure out my mistake because of missing domain name in the server name.

Original command which give me problem.

DP.exe Import C:\AXR3CU8DemoData MicrosoftDynamicsAX Server\MSSQLAX2012

It should be:

DP.exe Import C:\AXR3CU8DemoData MicrosoftDynamicsAX Server .DOMAIN\MSSQLAX2012

Problem solved.
