Microsoft BC365 Partner increase the Enhancement Plan to 22% instead of 19%

Hello Experts,

I would like to inquire whether our partners have the right to increase the Enhancement Plan to 22%. I recently came across a blog post stating that the on-premises BC365 Enhancement Plan will increase to 19%. This has raised some confusion for me, as it seems our partners are requesting a 22% rate despite the global pricing being set at 19%.

Could someone please clarify this matter for me? Thank you for your assistance.

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

from my experience with our clients, you will need to communicate this changes with your partner.
You have contract with Microsoft partner, and they make this percentage regardless of Microsoft recommend prices.
We have a clients with different enhancement plan %, but we compensate for this with a larger number of licenses, or different modules they use.

I think it all depends on your agreement with your partner and you should firstly communicate with them.

    Greetings

From the start we upgraded to BC365 (year 2021) we are paying this Enhancement Plan but we never experienced the updates and upgrade of our system.
    Current Version: W1 17.4 (Platform 17.0.21485.21516 + Application 17.4.21491.21531)

I already tried calling them about this matter, and already sent an email but they are not responsive.

What should I do? Do I need to report them, because we are paying but they are not doing anything.
Is there also a way to confirm if they are really paying our Enhancement Plan to Microsoft?

You should reach out to your partner to discuss the difference.  It could be that they are including some level of support for the additional % points at no additional cost to you.  Something you should make use of if you are already paying for it.

Second, paying the Enhancement Plan does not include the upgrade services to the next version.  It entitles you to the latest release of the license, but not the effort to move your data, customizations, and training on the new version.  Typically, that is quoted and discussed separately from the EP, and with on-premises clients typically happens ever 3-ish years.

I would encourage you to have this discussion with your partner to understand their position.  This forum will not know the specifics of what that partner includes in your annual renewal.

    Best Regards,
