Hi,
On LCS, I can find environment called Sandbox, but also some others called Dynamics 365 for finance and operations Sandbox. What is the difference between these two?
Thanks,
Hi Yuji,
The environment with DYNAMICS 365 OPERATIONS naming extension before the environment name is add on environment. One with Sandbox:Develop and TEST is you must have got as a part of your subscription. You get one free "develop and test" environment hosted in Microsoft's Azure subscription and can be used for build ,Unit test and with Develop topology for DEV environment.
+1 Sukrut
SANDBOX is included in your subscription while D365 operations sandbox is an additional add-on on your subscirption
Hi Yuji
Microsoft subscription means that the customer purchases Finance and Operations licenses which will then allow them to deploy environments to an Azure subscription which is managed by Microsoft, therefore, the customer has no separate Azure billing. With each Enterprise offer, three environments are included by default.
One Tier-1 sandbox which is a development or build environment.
One Tier-2 sandbox (multi-box environment) for user acceptance testing (UAT).
One production environment with High Availability (HA). This environment is managed and operated by Microsoft.
please go through the below Ms Doc link to understand about the different topology environments.
