Sales Shipment Report

ReportReport

Hello Experts. For some reason, the report (10077) Sales Shipment Report that I modified is now showing an extra page at the end of the report.  I have modified this report to add another tablix.  Everything looks good except that it always prints an extra page at the end.  Also, the page numbering is a little off (right upper hand corner).  This is a Nav report that allows users to print more than 1 copy.  Anyway, I did add a dataitem right bellow the Sales Shipment comment Line and has the same indentation as Sales Shipment Comment line.  The parent is the sales shipment.

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of this extra page and to fix the page numbering issue in Visual Studio 10?  It's not as simple as getting the builtin page numbering as Nav is allowing users to print > 1 copy of Sales SHipment Report.  I have been playing with this report for a while now.  Ugh!  The contents are great.  But the extra page(s) drives me nuts.  If I save as pdf, it gives me twice the number of pages.  thank you all in advance.

Can it be the case that the width of the report is now too narrow so some extra space is being transferred to another page? Can you make the size of the table more narrow for troubleshooting purposes?

Most of the time this happens due to report width. Go to report layout and check the report width.

Hello Tharanga and Alexander,  Thanks for the replies.  However, the problem is not the report layout and report width! I made sure to take them out of the equation so I can zero in on the problem.   Ultimately, the problem was due to the datasource.  When I inserted a new data item, it caused problems and somehow doubling up the data.  I know Nav converts all data item into flat file format so there's only one big dataset.  Unfortunately, this causes doubling up if not done right.  My solution was to play with the indentation and place the dataitem so it doesn't double up the data causing blank pages.
