    Hello,

Thanks for your detail update , but we are on the on-premise system so cannot use Microsoft flow.

Anything else that can be utilized.

    Hi Partner,

In your scenario, connection entity are related to two entities (Account and Contact) through 'Connected From' and 'Connected To' lookup fields.

Maybe you can create a flow to list connection based on selected account and find related contacts to update them.

    Overview of the flow:

    1.Go Power Automate(https://us.flow.microsoft.com/en-us/ )

    2.Trigger.

    3.List Records.

    4.Update a row.

In my example, i want to update owner of related contacts with value from account owner.

Note: Apply to each action will appear automatically after you fill connect to value in Row Id column of update a row action.

    5.Test:

if it would have been one record then i could have done it.

I am having 1000 Account Records and each one of account is associated with some contact record via connection.

suppose for one account there are five associated contact via connection, like wise say for 1000 records there are 5000 records associated with contact via connection.

it is really hard for me to check each individual account manually and then find contact record and then change the owner of a contact.

i need some sort of small solution that can be good enough , i know i can write down a console utility and go ahead , but again it will be great to get such things from citizen developer perspective.

    Hi,

There is one button in the contact form, you can click it to change owner of it.

    Hi partner,

You can change owner of a contact through clicking assign button.

    pastedimage1628822050918v1.png

And you mentioned that contact with account is associated via Connection, so you want to change owner of account and contact at the same time?

But you want to change contact owner based on related account? or change account owner based on related contact?

Anyway, maybe you can try to use power automate(https://us.flow.microsoft.com/en-us/ ) to create a flow to test.
