Cannot see filter option on Shortcut dimension 3 field

Hello Everyone,

On General Journal page, I have one Global dimension and a short cut dimension columns. I have the filter and other options on the Global dimension but the same in not there for the short cut dimension column. Does anybody know resolution for this challenge?

Are they both fields on the page?

If it is a text/code declared variable used to show shortcut dimensions on the page then you cannot do filtering and other things.

Hello,

Mohana Is correct, that on General ledger entries you can only filter Global Dimensions fields value.

For other dimensions Filter use "Set dimension filter" in which you can filter all the Dimension which are you entered in Posting.

Hi, I tested it and it's standard behavior.

Global Dimension:

Shortcut Dimension:

When Microsoft added these fields, Shortcut Dimension 1 Code and Shortcut Dimension 2 Code were actual fields, and those after Shortcut Dimension 3 Code were variables, which cannot be filtered and sorted on the page.
