Hi All,
After full compilation, the compiler output showing one error, but the error is not displaying in the compiler window. Is there any way I can see what the error is?

Click on the button there on the toolbar which says 1 Error. You've turned off showing errors
Hi Ivan,
I already clicked on the button showing 1 error several times, but nothing is being shown.
Thanks,
Baber.
And Interestingly, the full CIL compile completed without any errors.
You can try to look in the C:\Users\[your_user]Microsoft\Dynamics Ax\Log at the AxCompileAll.html file and see if there is anything listed there.
Hi Baber,
Try to create a code conflict (e.g. create a silly job) and compile it to see if you can view that error. Then use the Reset to clear the form values. You can then correct the wrong code and run the compilation again to see what happens. If the error does not appear, try to rerun the full compilation.
Can you also indicate if you used the x++ compilor or if you imported a axbuild compiler log?
I have noticed this several times too when doing large compiles. If your settings under setup-> compiler (on the compiler toolbar) are valid there is a workaround.
I always simply export the compiler results and import them afterwards. (function under the dropdown next to the setup button)
You can allso let the compiler create a privare project with the compiler results and simply open that and compile the project contents.
Hi Andre
I already tried this which you mentioned. Introduced an error explicitly in a class and compile the code, the error shown in the compiler window in development workspace, but no error other than that appeared in the compiler output window. The screenshot, I shown in my post is appearing under functional workspace and not the development workspace. I used the normal way of doing the compilation which is application compile option under System administration module.
Thanks.
Thanks Rik. I created the project (Setup -> Create project), but nothing has been added under that project.
Hi
Can you please verify that there is no filter set on the grid?
- Make sure the "1 error" button is pressed
- Open the advanced filter form (Ctrl-F3 should work)
- Remove the filter if there is one
(have not had any behaviour like this in AX2012, but back in AX 4 or 2009, so maybe ...)
Also: If you hit the reset button in the compiler output form and rerun the full compile, does it still behave this way?
Kind regards,
Annette
Thanks Annette. The "1 Error" button is pressed and is highlighted yellow. There is no filter applied on the compiler output form. I cannot click the Reset button, as it is greyed out.
