Leave workflow - Auto approved if submitted by Director, VP

Hi All,

I need to configure the leave workflow based on condition that if the leave request submitted by Director/VP then it must be auto-approved else should go to manager for approval.

If I use conditional decision, I just can put the condition on sleave request submitted by username, but I need to make it position driven. But the option is not available to define the condition based on title/position.

Please advise how to achieve this.

You can use the following data elements to create conditional or automatic approvals in workflows for leave and absence requests:

Use Submitted by Human resources and Submitted by manager in an automatic action to automatically approve leave requests that these roles submit on behalf of employees. For more information about automatic actions, please refer to this:
