Business Central Saas: problem with the body sending a Segment

Hi,

When I try to send interactions of a Segment, I preview and receive the layout code (MS-5084-EMAIL_DEFMRG) instead of the layout of the body.

I'm using the standar layout of the report 5084.

Do you know how to solve it?

    Hello, 

    I am not able to replicate exactly what you are seeing based on the information provided.  Would you be able to send me the exact steps that you are taking when you receive this error?  

    Also is it happening for all segments and all interactions or only some of them?

    Hi Isaac,

    I create a new segment for 2 contacts for example.

    I select an Interact Template which has "wizard action" = Merge and in the Interact Template Languages I select the report 5084:

    If I see the fields of this table, I see that the "Custom Layout Code" is what I receive as body when I send emails:

    Hi Maider, 

    I believe that I can reproduce this issue but I am seeing slightly different results as the body of my message is appearing as follows:  0MS-5084-EMAIL_MERGE

    I think it would be best to have a support case opened for this so that we can dig in and verify the issue is indeed reproducible with your exact steps and write this up as a quality issue if so for our development team to review.

    Hi Isaac,

    Your body is different because it shows the "Custom Layout Code" field of the Interaction Template Language table. It should be your value in this field.

    How can I create a new support case? I know that it changed...

    Hi Maider,

    I guess I don't know if you are a CSP / Partner or not as I don't have access to that type of information in a thread.  If not, you would have to contact them about raising an incident with us through the business central admin center under the Support Tab.

    Hello!

    I have the same problem in Business Central if I try to use it from Segments. But It works when I use it from Contacts creating an Interaction. Did you find the solution? It would be great because one of my customers want to do mailing using the Segment function.

    We created a new incident in Microsoft and they will solve it in a future release.

    Sorry but we don't know exactly when.
