Batch Job Retries On Failure

Hi Guys,

I am specifying maximum retries if batch job fails.

And expecting Batch Job to re-run 3 times if error occurs.

But it seems like when job fails nothing happens. Batch Job has Status 'Error' and Actual Retries count is 0.

What am I doing wrong and how it should be working?

Hi PolinaK,

Retries are used for internal failures. If your batch job fails because of an exception in code retry will not be applied.
