Create Order from Opportunity directly without Quote

Hi,

I'm looking at a possibility where I can create an Order directly from Opportunity without needing to create a Quote.

I am aware of the plugin messages mentioned in this link: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-in/library/gg328570.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396

Is there a UI approach to the same? 

Kindly advise.

    Also, I was thinking -

    That I use this using WebAPI: msdn.microsoft.com/.../mt607659.aspx

    This will take care of the entire scenario.

    you can add an order subgrid  to the opportunity entity form which allows you to create orders directly from opportunity
