Integrate CRM 2013 with SharePoint

Hi,

I need to integrate CRM 2013 with SharePoint to handle documents. First, I need to install Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 List Component on SharePoint. When I checked the server where CRM is installed, I noticed it has Microsoft SharePoint WorkSpace 2010 (there is a Windows update for Microsoft SharePoint WorkSpace 2010). But it doesn't look like I can use it to handle documents in CRM. Do I need to install SharePoint full version for this?

    Hi

SharePoint WorkSpace 2010 is just a client, not a SharePoint Server version

try to find the version of your SharePoint:

    http://blog.fpweb.net/what-sharepoint-version-am-i-using/#.VRHyYnkcS70

if it is "foundation", then you will need to upgrade

    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh699758(v=crm.6).aspx

You won't need Workspace for the integration

    Hi Bruno,

Thanks a lot for the response. I checked the programs but there is no SharePoint installation other than the above mentioned SharePoint client. I believe we need to install Microsoft SharePoint Server for this?

Thanks Bruno. Just a quick question. Can we use the free SharePoint version for this or do we need to purchase the standard version?

last time I checked, the only free version is the foundation, what is not supported. probably would be a better idea get SharePoint online. you just need to see how the cost of maintaining a on-premises server compares with paying an SharePoint online instance.
