Hello Clyde,
If you are printing a report and want to export the results to Excel you can do that through Printer Setup export as txt file and then import the file into excel.
Also try Administration > Periodic > Data export/import > Excel spreadsheets
Regards,Abdallah
Or you can select records on a grid in DAX forms, then copy and paste them to Excel.
George
In AX 2009, you can export the contents of any grid to excel. For list pages, use the general tab and you will see an "Export to Excel" button. For other grids, there is an Excel icon on the toolbar above the grid.
Thanks,
Tom
COM excel = new COM('Excel.Application');
COM workbooks = excel.workbooks();
COM workbook = workbooks.add();
COM worksheets = workbook.worksheets();
COM worksheet = worksheets.item(1);
COM cell;
void variant2COM(COM _COM, COMVariant _variant)
{
_COM.attach(_variant.iDispatch());
}
;
cell = worksheet.cells();
variant2COM(cell, cell.item(1,1));
cell.value2("Hello world!");
excel.visible(true);
excel = null;
workbooks = null;
