I've created a marketing form to capture website enquries and create leads in Microsoft dynamics.
I have built the form with the following specs:
I've managed to host it and the domain has been verified in the system to allow it to host forms. However, when the form is filled out the data does not write across to the marketing form (i.e. nothing appears under 'submissions' and 'insights') and no leads are created in the leads entity.
Am I missing a step in the process? I'm wondering if there is something else that needs to be done under 'form hosting' but unsure what the next step is.
Hi,
What you are doing is to embed a Dynamics 365 Marketing form on an external page if my understanding is correct.
It is recommended to split the issue into two parts to check.
Here is the official documentation of the steps.
Embed forms on external websites (Dynamics 365 Marketing) | Microsoft Docs
Please refer to it to check your steps.
What’s more, if there is any custom form field which involves other entities, you need to grant the appropriate privileges to the security role "Marketing service user".
If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.
Best Regards,
Nya
