Hello Everyone
Hope all are fine !!!!
I am trying to add multiple mandatory fields in check conditions of dialog to show user prompt response, PLease fill all the mandatory fields but its not working
Please check below screen shot is there anything wrong i was done in this condition, Pls suggest me
Hi Neha,
I am not sure if you are using CRM Online or On Premise, but Process Dialogs have been deprecated will be removed by December 1, 2020.
Please see the post below:
docs.microsoft.com/.../important-changes-coming
You should consider using alternatives (possibly Canvas Apps), Microsoft Flow, or even third party dialogs such as tkdialogs.
If you are still planning to use the using the On-Premise version of CRM and would still like to use this, I would suggest taking a look at your query. It seems like your conditions might be off. You can share your actual query. Possibly if you have Grouping remove the grouping in your case, as it might not be necessary.
Hope this helps.
I am Using on premise Microsoft CRM 2013 version and there is no grouping .
Hello Neha,
You are using AND operator in "If" condition so, it means that dialog /workflow won't trigger until all fields mentioned in IF conditions doesn't contain any data. For example - If one of field doesn't contains data but another field does, it won't trigger at all.
However, if you would like to get the dialog / workflow trigger, if any one of the field does not contain data then you would need to use "OR" operator here instead of AND.
How do I select or oprator in dailog there is no option for OR oprator pls suggest me
My aim is user should fill all the mandatory fields which is mentioned in condition if one of them is missing user will have to get prompted for same to fill mandatory field
You would need to deactivate the workflow and click on the IF condition -
Now select all the filter conditions and click on "Group OR" option from ribbon. Here is an example -
1. Click on "select row" for each conditions
2. Now, click on "Group or" and save & close -
Thanks for your speedy response i am running Microsoft CRM 2013 on premises and I am not getting Grouping option in dialog box check condition.
Let me check in CRM 2013 version. Can you please share the exact version of CRM so I can test it in same build ?
Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013
(6.0.2.51) (DB 6.0.2.51) pls assist for same.
I created a CRM 2013 (6.0.2) lab and was able to reproduce the issue and don't see the Group OR option either and after researching, I found that Group OR feature was introduced in CRM 2013 SP1 and after installing it on CRM server, I was able to see the grouping options so, you would need to upgrade to CRM 2013 SP1 in order to see the Group OR option and use it in workflow.
If you don't wish to upgrade to SP1 then, using conditional branching is the only way to achieve this conditional logic and you can find an example in this blog - https://crmmatthew.com/2014/06/10/or-statement-workflows-in-crm-2013-spring-wave-new-functionality/
Thanks for your quick response now its working fine .
