Lookup reporting Tree Definition

ReportReport
Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi, I have a need to reference data that I have in on of my Reporting Tree Definitions - we use it for Expenses and Revenue by Department report. On that report there is the department code, department name, the security (who can see which information).

I have SQL access and the lookup I need to do is for this specific report to another program (online form product by Laserfiche that would show me all available department codes that are assigned to an employee based on that report).

The report is in the Management Reporter. The ManagementReporter database seems to make this kind of need difficult to map because items are referenced in too many different tables. Any help would be appreciated!

That's the easiest way to get it in excel - and yes, they would need to let you know.  Good luck and let me know how it goes!  You can DM me or email me!

Thanks Shawn, that means that the Business Office has to remember to let me know if there are any changes on the report. Is there a good way to export the report other than select all and then copy - paste?

Is it something that can be moved from MR?  You can simply copy/paste the reporting tree into Excel and reference it from there?  Just a thought.
