Please help out, I want to Finalize the PO in AX 2012 but it is disabled. Both the items invoices are generated even then the button is not enabled.
Further can anyone elaborate what does Finalize button do on back end, means it just mark a column in database as finalize or does it records some changes in different tables related to inventory transactions. Any help would be appreciated.
it just Indicates whether the purchase order line is finalized or not
I am not talking about the column finalize at item level. I am talking about button in Purchase Tab on header that button is greyed out. How can I finalize the whole PO.

I have seen your screenshot and found that both the line items are invoiced but your Purchase order status is "Open Order". Please check it why it is in Open state or if you know that order is fully invoiced update the order status as invoiced. To finalize the whole order, your order status must be "Invoiced".
Secondly, if you cancel any remaining quantity (i.e. delivery reminder) on PO line then that line status will be invoiced. And when you finalize this line your committed budget will be reduced by that amount. Once the order status is "finalized"- any transaction can't be done on that PO.
