Analysing Portal logins

Hi,

What is the best model for recording and analysing Portal logins. A recent blog I saw seemed to indicate that the data is held in Azure Insights rather than in Dataverse. It looks like now you don't even get last login in the D365 data model.

A client is keen to understand the historical data before selecting their capacity based licence.

    Hi,

I just re-read your reply. I'm surprised you only get the last 30 days - that doesn't really help a customer who is trying to understand their annual login pattern to decide on the model they require going forward - does it? I suppose they would need to download each month.

    Peter.

    Hi Ana,

Thanks very much for your reply. I did see those links. However, the customer is on the Customer Engagement Plan model and those options don't appear in the PowerApps interface for them. I suspect they are only available when on the consumption model. We have put a request into MSFT Support for a download.

    Regards,

    Peter.

    Hello Peter.

Since the last month the customers are able to generate excel report with the logins and page views for the last 30 days.

On this report the customer will see the sum of logins or page views per day and portal id. This report is valid to PowerApps Portals and Microsoft Portals.

You can know more about this feature on our documentation:

    https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-apps-portals-capacity-consumption-reporting-is-now-available/

     I hope it hepls!
