Im trying to find a true profit margin, the reports i have now give me one but the math is all wrong, right now if i sold something and made 5% and other for 10% but then returned something at 5% its saying my profit margin is 3.33% which is wrong, it should be 10% because both 5% would cancel each other out?
Anyone have a report that works?

Active reports which you are using average when grouped, That is the only option in active reports. My suggestion would be to use crystal reports or a 3rd party addon like store utilities that has the reports built into it that have the correct margins.
