I have a lookup form in dynamics 365 finance and operation with name InventItemIdLookupPurchase and this lookup form is for field "item id" in the form purchtable , so this lookup from contains 4 column item id, item name, product name and item group , so my requirement is I have to apply a range in my purchtable form in which items with item group "project" will not show in the lookup form.

    Hi,

You will need to override the lookup method by code and add range for item group.

    Hi,

The InventItemIdLookupPurchase form already has the required fields in the view InventTableExpanded and this table has all the required fields you mentioned. In the OnLookup event of the Itemid, you can add your required code and filter by Item group id.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

You can override the lookup with your own lookup like explained by Peter Ramer in his blog: How To Override An Existing Lookup Method: Chain Of Command - Dynamics 365 Musings

I don't understand the requirement. Why do you want to apply a range to PurchTable form if the form where you want to filter records is InventItemIdLookupPurchase?
