Set a default view per app

Hi! I work in a Dynamics 365 environment with several model-driven apps, and I want a specific view to be the default view for all users in that app only, without affecting other apps that use the same table. Is it possible? If possible, how do I do that?

As far as I know, the "Default" setting on a system view is environment-wide. I don't recall ever encountering an option to set a default on a per-app basis.

What happens if you remove the system defined Default view from your app? Does it just start at the top of the list alphabetically? Maybe you can work around the requirement by creating some default type view with a "_" or other character in front, and then force it to be the top of the list in the available views for an app?
