Change of date causes removal of batch reservation

Hello,

after making batch reservation of sales order line, I change ship date and get this - undesired - message informing me that the reservation has been removed.

I do want to keep my reservation (at least as long as being within expiry date) and tried various batch expiry dates, setup of item model group (FEFO), warehouse, etc. but no difference in behaviour.

When changing date on the order header, there seems to be no way to avoid it (with copy to order lines of course).
When changing date on the order line, a dialogue enables me to avoid removing the reservation, but of course I would want to avoid doing this manually for each order line.
/Changing the requested receipt date may cause the reserved batch to no longer be valid based on its best before or expiry date. Do you wish to remove the reservation?/

Any suggestions?

Hi,

There is not much information on this online, you can make sure that the material model group associated with the material in question is configured correctly, especially in terms of batch management Settings, or you can check the expiration date of the batch and make sure it matches the requested shipment date of the sales order.
