I am going to begin a new job and they have Great Plains 6.5. I know it is no longer supported by Microsoft but was wondering if anyone knew where I could get information on the software such as demos and user manuals.

Your user manuals should be online, check under Help About Great Plains (wasn't Microsoft back then) and look for training manuals. If not you could use any of the manuals that are out there on Customer Source. The basics of Great Plains accounting systems are all the same. You can go online to Youtube and put in Microsoft Dynamics GP and all sorts of training is out there. They have added a whole lot of bells and whistles since 6.5 that goes along with technology but the underlying accounting system and distributions are all the same.
