Best way to create Quotes on the portal and what does metadata "purchase" do?

I'm having to create Quotes on the portal for the first time and I'm trying to think up the best way to add products. The traditional entity form for a product doesn't seem to support the product pricing on selection of a product but I found a metadata called "Purchase" on web forms. The explanation on the Microsoft website is rather vague and doesn't provide examples on how to use this so I'm wondering if anyone has configured this before and can shed some light and recommendations on its functions?

Also, the documentation references the "purchase entity". There is no such thing in D365 from what I can see. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-engagement/portals/web-form-properties.  What are they referring to when they say purchase entity??
