Change TimeZone Setting for Users

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to know how can an administrator can change a TimeZone of any User from the CRM.

 If I want to view/change the TimeZone of a User from the database, then which tables i need to look into?

    You could also use the XRMToolBox User Settings tool to bulk change user settings.

    Open the file menu above the ribbon bar,Go to Setting-> Click the Option

    Set Personal Options dialog opens (see below). In the General  tab, in the Set the time zone you are in section, open the Time Zone drop-down menu and select your local time zone, in our example,


    (GMT-8:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada)”, and click OK.

    Hi,

    The timezone for a given user is actually read directly from the OS that the user is running so there is no way of manipulating this via the database.

    Hi,

    There is no supported way in CRM to go ahead and update the Time zone of all users in CRM. They will need to login and change their settings.

    If you want to go the database route, you may want to check the UserSettings table.. note you are going into the unsupported zone so a backup before you start changing in there would be advisable :)
