What happens when record assigned to Owner Team

I know how to create the owner team and assign users to the team. My question is if I assign a record to an owner team, will members of the team get notified?

If not, how would they know something is assigned to the team?

Hello,

There will be no notification about it unless you want to implement it in some way. The goal of having such ownership is providing access to the record to all the members of that team.
