Hi,
Suppose I want to use HR module of core Dynamics AX application (D365 F&O).
So, which license I should look at? D365 for Finance or D365 for SCM?
I know there is license for D365 HR. But that is probably applicable for D365 HR (earlier known as Talent) which is a separate app.
It will be great if I get some insights in this regard in this forum.

Hi Raj,
You can find the answer in the licensing guide. There is a Hcm Manager role available in Dynamics 365 Finance, SCM and Commerce.
Note that the core HRM will be maintained and updated in Dynamics 365 Human Resources only. There are currently already many features which has been added and evolved in Human Resources. There are still some HRM capabilities in Dynamics 365 F&O. If your intention is to use it for resource scheduling, workflow management or other operations related features only, then you can safely use F&O. I wonder if other features will remain in the product in future as Microsoft is connecting the different applications more and more.
