Hi

We are new to Microsoft D365 F&O.

I would like to know if anyone can advise and guide on following queries:

1. When Microsoft will release updates related to India EInvoicing?

2. Do we have any other way or suggestion in Export of Goods from India by IGST? We were advised to use "Export Order" option to pay or not to pay IGST for an exports. We are looking for better other solutions.

    Saurabh -

    Thanks for the reply!!

    1. Got it

    2. It is not an issue and i can see this as a grey area in business process.

Because, Finance team decides whether to proceed by paying Tax, LUT, Credit.

Export Order option should be chosen in Sales order and it will be Grey out when Packing receipt generated.

    This is a grey area.

    Thanks

    Ashik

Thanks for your reply and i will wait for a release 10.0.13.

Please drop an email to me mali@progressrail.com in case if you have any update regarding this.

    Much appreciated!!

    Hi Ashik,

I thought you are looking for Export of service, Free text can not be used in that case as we can not select Item.

To accommodate LUT/Bond kind of scenario, our engineering team extending Export order functionality where it is planned to provide couple of option while creating Export order. User can select With tax or Without tax options during creation of Export order which will determine weather to calculate tax or not.

As this is still under development and tentatively planned to release with 10.0.13. I am sorry to say i don't have much visibility about the feature as it is still under development. I hope that may help you.

As there is no other option to create Export order other than 'Export order' process, i would also request you to log a suggestion in the idea site to review your scenario.

    Susant -

    Thanks for your reply!!

Ya i found this information in LCS and Microsoft may release in Q3 and in Release 10.0.11.

With reference to Export order - 'Export order' is the best option to use, can you please share if there is any specific reason for not using this option. ?.

    Ans:

We can perform Export transaction in 2 ways as per India Customs and GST notification.

    1. We can issue a LUT - Letter of Under Taking to Custom authorities and export our goods without paying GST. - This will work when i dont choose "Export Order" option.

    2. We have an option to export goods by paying GST by using existing GST credits or by cash. --> Finance team will make a decision during the time of invoice creation whether to use credit / cash / LUT.

Here the problem is - "Export Order" option to be chosen during Sales Order creation and this field will be non editable when you create a product shipment and Finance team cant edit this "Export Order" option.

Probably, Sales team can check with Finance team to choose "Export Order" option or not during Sales Order Creation but Manufacturing industries will take more time to deliver the goods and we may drained off with our credits during the time of Export.

Ideally, This should been given to Finance Team and not to Sales Team by design!!

This is the reason which i am looking for alternate standard solution.

    Thanks

    Ashik

    Hi,

If you miss a regulatory feature that is needed in your country/region then you can check LCS if a fix is already in progess/development. If this is the case then you can select getting a notification if this is finished.

Alternatively, if you miss an important local feature that you urgently need, open a support ticket with MS.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
