I have a field name " Customer email" in my form and I created a workflow to send a mail to the customer.

My problem is that I can't add the customer email field in the recipient.

Is it possible? can you help me please.

For example in my mail I wrote:

Dear â€‰{Customer Name(Service )}  etc. But can't add a field in the recipient.

If it's impossible can you give me the solution?

Thank you

The To,From fields expect an entity record like a contact, account , lead etc or any custom entity that is enabled for Emails and it Doesn't accept a text field like an email.

    A couple of suggested solutions:

    1) Move this workflow to Flow(Power Automate): If you can move to Flow, then you can create a Flow that accepts that Email text field easily. The downside here, no activity record will be created automatically for tracking purposes.

    2) If you still want a Workflow, I would suggest creating a lookup to a contact or an account on your form (that record will have its Email property set to the customer email). Once you do that, populate the the recipient field with that contact record and not the plain email text.

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks

    Hello,

Yes, the to, CC, Bcc fields are working on the contact, account, lead entity or any other entity for which email activity is enabled. Either create a lookup field with any of these entity or create an entity and enable email activity then create a lookup in your form using that custom entity.

    Thanks,

    Soumen

    Hi,

These fields are looking for contact/account or entity with email activity enabled. Either use the lookup or you can use Powerautomate(Flow) to send the emails to email address (in text field). Better to use powerautomate flows as legacy workflows may get deprecated soon.
