how to enable entering of notes in the system notes page

How can I enable entering of notes in a system page with SystemID=Notes?  I see this enabled in sales order card.  But I can't enable it in another page.  I can only view but cannot edit or add a note.

    It depends on page type and its properties, if you have a page as non editable then you cannot enter notes you can just view the notes.  For Sales Order Card, it  is of page type document and it is editable. What is your page type and is it editable ?

    Thank you Suresh.  That did it.  I made the document page NON Editable but disabled the Allow mod/ins and del.  It works now.  Thank you so much.
