CRM for Outlook - Set Regarding Look Up Record Issue

Hello,

I was conducting a sales training course on tracking/set regarding in CRM for Outlook and one of the sales representatives has an interesting problem. When he went to set an email regarding a CRM entity, he had no "Look for" or "View" option in the Look Up Record window. He only has the option to "Search." And the only records he is able to search are Accounts. Everyone else is able to choose an entity and view in addition to searching (and they all have the same security role, so I don't think that's the problem). I haven't been able to figure out the problem...any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Hi, I am experiencing the same with one of my users. Did you find a solution?

The good news is that I figured it out. The bad news is that it took me this long...

The Look For and View drop-downs are still there, the user just wasn't able to see them. He had to scroll up.

For some reason, the Look Up Record window was opening in a partially minimized state, and the scroll bar was appearing on the side.

Sometimes it's the simplest of things... Hope that fixes your problem as well.

Excellent, thanks for sharing that, I was stuck on this problem for days!  Scroll bars in dialog boxes, I just wasn't seeing it until I read this thread.  Thanks!

Ha ha. Wow!  I have been struggling and "making due" with this for weeks...and yes, all it was was a matter of scrolling up a little!  Dang!  I'll stop kicking myself now and just thank you for the simplest solution I have every seen!

I just did a test - I had my fonts (Win7) set to MEDIUM. When I set them back to SMALL (Default), the issue goes away. :-)

Too funny - I have been looking this for a bit and could not figure out why I could not see the darn fields. Thank you for posting this :-)
