New install to Windows 8.1 with SQL 2012. RMS Upgraded to 2.0.2002
When I try to do a backup from Magager I get the error message:
Backup Failed for Server .xxxx
In the event log is:
BACKUP failed to complete the command BACKUP DATABASE xxxx. Check the backup application log for detailed messages.

I have the same question (0)
run the manager as an admin. Also store the backup in the "My Documents" folder. You don't have access to the program files directory anymore under windows 8.
