We are running GP 2016 and recently upgrade from Office 2013 to Office 2016 32-bit. After installing Office 2016 GP crashes with a "Microsoft Dynamics GP has stopped working" pop-up whenever we try to export any Smartlist to Excel.
We would appreciate any help in resolving this issue.
I would try uninstalling GP 2016 and reinstalling. A repair may also help.

I tried the repair and in the process found that the database has an old version of RED that has not been updated. This is a terminal server install of GP that is heavily used so I'm going to wait until the weekend to clean up the database and do a complete reinstall of GP. I will post an update after that is completed.
I found the problem in the dex.ini file. SmartlistEnhancedExcelExport had been added to the .ini file and was set to TRUE. Setting the parameter to FALSE (or removing) resolved the export problem. This is an undocumented setting that in some cases will improve Smartlist performance but in others, such as this, will cause problems.
