Check Power BI or Excel Data Sources for OData v2.0 endpoint

Got an alert from MS for a Dynamics CE environment, how would I be able to confirm if any Power BI reports that were introduced in Dynamics CRM 2011 would be using the OData v2.0 endpoint?

RE: Check Power BI or Excel Data Sources for OData v2.0 endpoint

Hi there! So, you received an alert from Microsoft regarding your Dynamics CE environment, and you're wondering how to confirm if any Power BI reports that were introduced in Dynamics CRM 2011 are using the OData v2.0 endpoint. I'm here to help!

To confirm this, you can start by checking the Power BI reports in question and looking for any references to the OData v2.0 endpoint. You can also check the data sources that are being used in the reports and see if they are pointing to the OData v2.0 endpoint.

Another way to confirm this is by checking the version of Dynamics CRM that the reports were built on. Since the OData v2.0 endpoint was deprecated in Dynamics CRM 2016, any reports built on Dynamics CRM 2016 or later would not be using this endpoint.
