Visual Studio Just-In Time Debugger error when publishing from VS Code

Posted on by 231
Hi,

Since this morning, when trying to publish (with or without debugging) to any SaaS sandboxes from VS Code, I get a Visual Studio Just-In Time Debugger error
I do not have Visual Studio installed, only VS Code

I just click on OK and the process continues, but it's annoying.
Doesn't happen if I'm publishing on Prem.
Tried different tenant, always same behavior

It happens twice during the publishing process if I publish without debugging, only happens  once (2nd screenshot) if I publish with debugging
First time here
Second time here
Then it goes through

My VS Code is up to date, I haven't changed any configuration
Any idea?

Yesterday, the AL Language extension was updated, and there might be an issue with debugging again:

Check whether you are already using the latest version (11.0.825804).
If so, try downgrading the AL Language:

Thanks Yun Zhu for, once again, taking the time to reply to my posts
I saw that while doing a google search early one, they are both already flagged.

My co-worker has almost the same issue
The difference is, since he has Visual Studio installed, he is getting prompted instead of getting the error message

We have no idea what changed between yesterday and this morning

Hi, This is kind of weird, I just tried Sandbox for SaaS and didn't have this problem.
You can try the following, but I'm not sure if it works for VS Code.
    Disable the Just-In-Time Debugger

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.
