GP 2013 SP2 and SQL Server 2014

I have a 3rd party application I am incorporating into an upgrade from GP10.00.1868 to GP 2013R2 that requires me to 'stop-off' at GP 2013SP2. Unfortunately, I have GP 2013SP2 installed with GP10.00.1868 DBs on the SQL Server 2014 at the 100 compatibility level, I get a message that 'Your current SQL Server is not a supported version.' I have been looking for system requirements for GP 2013SP2, but all I find is requirements documents for GP 2013R2. I see in that document that SQL Server 2014 is supported, but the 'pre-requisite' is GP 2013R2. Is this the expected behavior? I guess I might as well dust off a VM and install SQL Server 2012 on it with GP 2013SP2, and be done with this...

    Russ,

You might try changing the compatibility setting on the Database properties, prior to resorting to putting another VM into service.  Try 110, which is 2012.

    Hi Russ,

I believe that based on the requirements that were posted in the link above that GP would need to be GP 2013 R2.

Hope the information that was posted has been helpful!
