Email works only when I run tests

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

I need help with the configuration of the email sending from the CRM Dynamics Onpremise 2015, I have configured an e-mail router to use the smtp of gmail, they work only when I press the test button and activate, but when trying to send an email from a lead it does not work

I have restarted it several times, I have removed xxx.state.xml file in the folder services, starts without problems, nothing comes out in the event log, The configuration is published

"Test" - you mean "test access" in the router, right? Was going to ask if the profiles have been loaded to the router, but that probably means they were.

Well, maybe I'd also check if the router service is running (you did publish router configuration, right?).. try to restart the router service and see what it tells you in the application event log once it's started.

There is no event in the event viewer, no errors, the access type is Email Router and the router is configured following the steps of the tutorial you sent. All mailboxes work when I test them, but none work when I do sales or marketing activities, or when I want to send a direct mail to a contact, I simply create the activity but it stays in pending, everything is pending

    Hi,

do you see any errors in the windows application event log on the email router server?

Also, have you followed the steps here?

    technet.microsoft.com/.../hh699786.aspx

Especially where it's talking about setting up "email access type".

And, finally, are you sending that email from your own account (and is that account configured with the correct email access type, and, then, loaded to the router?)
