Production for customer, transferred by transfer order

Hello.

I have the following business scenario.

Production order is created based on sales order for specific customer. Product is moved to inventory.

First product has to be moved to distribution center by vessel and next by truck to customer.

As WMS/TMS is used, two separates loads/shipments will be generated.

Is there any possibility to manage this by Dynamics standard? To reserve produced products for specific customer, but to have transfer order first to distribution center by first load and by second load move products to customer.

Set the planning chain up to Transfer into the DC and the sales order pulls from the DC. What you cannot so is reserve products for a specific product in the chain before the DC. You make it in the Production warehouse based upon the chain of demand, the TO drives it to the DC and the sales order drives it out of the DC. I see no issues with WMS processing of loads and shipments, but the first load is for a TO, it is not for a specific customer order.
