How to get country/region code prefix from user or from system settings?

Set the default country/region code
 Enable country/region code prefixing

Hello,

I need to get the default Country/Region code prefix in javascript. But I am not able to get this field anywhere. Could someone let me know how can I achieve this?

    Thank you for your answer. Infact I was actually looking for fetch query like this:

    <fetch distinct='false' mapping='logical' output-format='xml-platform' version='1.0'><entity name='usersettings'><attribute name='defaultcountrycode'/><filter type='and'><condition attribute='systemuserid' operator='eq-userid'/></filter></entity></fetch>

    But I got idea from your answer. Thank you very much.
