I have a field named Rule Id in a form know as Rule forms from where I can make the rule either active or deactive. In another form, I am using the same field where it uses the edit method to show a drop down. Now, my requirement is to display only the active rules on the drop down and the deactive ones should not be displayed. Provide some thoughts over this. Thanks in advance.

Thanks,

    Hi,

    Can you guys ( Waed Ayyad and Mohit Rampal ) be bit more specific about the scenario since I have similar task to do so ?

    In my case, I have a jumpref where the active status is being checked but still I am getting both the active and deactive ones on the UI.

    if (rules.Active){
            args.lookupRecord(rules);}

    Can you provide your thoughts for this ?

    Thanks & Regards.

    Hi,

    You can override lookup method or use event handler in case it is standard form and add range to get only active rules.

    Hi, You can try using onLookup Event of edit method Form control and add range on Active rules.
