Error in file axcus.aod when load the AX Client

Hi

We had an error when load AX 2009, the error is:

"Error in file C:\Program files\Microsoft Dynamics AX\50\Application\appl\appl_files\axcus.aod. while reading in record 4B690.

Windows Error =

Error code: 50109 = Check Error. The check digit read in the data is illegal. If this is regarding an entire table cache, the cache might have been flushed. Restart your job if this is the case".

This happens in our test enviroment. We restart the AOS service, but it fails with the following error:

Event ID 110

Source: Dynamics Server 01

Object Server 01: Dialog issued for client-less session 1: The file 'axcus.aod' does not contain the correct check digits.

This is normally caused by file errors or by mixing different application versions.

A backup of correct files should be restored to avoid further damage.

Microsoft Dynamics cannot be executed.

 

Anyone knows how to solve this problem?

    Hi, we had the same issue and this is what ours turned out to be:

    There is an index file (extension ending with .??i and "i") this file was corrupt and deleting this file and letting the system re-create the index file sorted out the issue.
