Javascript from button in Crm 4

Hi,

I usually work on CRM2011 but I have to do some customization on a CRM4

i need to call a js function from a button (on a grid) that i will put in a .js file

i know that i have to modify the isv.config but...

where do i to put the .js file?

and how do i call my function?

    simple function are not a problem...

    the problem is to make a SOAP call to modify attributes of the selected email

    It's impossible to do in this way...

    i need to make a soap call to change some attributes of selected emails

    but... it's just impossible to make a SOAP call from here:

    <Button Icon=”/_imgs/ico_18_debug.gif” JavaScript=” ... SOAP CALL ... ”>

    i don't know how to do... :-(

    and i kow that it's gonna be painful, cause i need to use a soap message...
