Hi,
I've got a custom entity called 'Planner' and a field called 'Split'. I would like to enable this field for Field Level Security (FLS), however it says that it's 'Not Applicable'. Some notes about this field:
Does anyone know why this field in particular is 'Not Applicable'? Is there anything I can do to make it work?
I change the customization.xml file as IsSecurable as 1 and import back to crm but it throws as error "this field cannot be secure"

Hi,
Ideally you should have permission to enable field security for any custom field.
You can create another custom decimal number field and see if you can enable FLS. If this works then you can use this field instead of older one.

could you share a screenshot of the field configuration page?
I would use XrmToolBox metadata browser to see if the field can be secured. Almost all the fields can be secured but there are exceptions.
You can secure a calculated field i think but i think |FLS is applied after calculation so it should still work
I would also check the dependency of the field and see where else its being used, that might give a clue as to why its saying not applicable
Do you have any calculated or rollup fields that reference this field ?
