    Hi Micki,

    As an alternative to Tom's suggestion, if nobody else has entered any new transactions into the system yet, they could restore a backup, then apply the year-end tax update and roll the payroll run again..

    Theoretically, the taxes for that payroll run may be incorrect. Likely only minor errors and only for state taxes.

    They should go ahead and run the year-end close process now, then update the tax file. The system will not include the 2018 check date payroll run.
